On June 25th, 2023 the UTBA took a field trip to Dixie Orchards North of Brampton to spend the day at a UTBA members apiary. We learnt about Queen Rearing, managing an apiary, and even had the opportunity to watch a hive swarm, and then go through the steps of swarm catching. Members enjoined a picnic and shared their personal bee keeping stories and experiences.
